My name is Mrs. Kaitlyn Benavides. I have a Tennessee 7-12 English License as well as a Master's Degree in Education Administration with a concentration in Literacy and Library Sciences. I have worked in the educational field for 7 years, teaching a range of grade levels from 7th grade up to AP 12th grade English. I also have one-on-one tutoring experience through Sylvan Learning Centers; furthermore, I have tutored college level athletes with essay writing skills as an undergraduate.
I offer tutoring services that range from basic reading, decoding, fluency, and comprehension skills for struggling readers up to undergraduate essay composition. I currently teach an Advanced Writing class in Rutherford County and am confident that I can pinpoint areas of need and provide prescriptive tutoring sessions.
I am happy to meet at a local coffee shop, your home, or a local library for a consultation in which I will get a better understanding of your child's specific needs and academic goals. Each one hour session is 25.00 - a very competitive and reasonable rate compared to local tutoring institutions.
